In the latest updates on the Hijab Controversy, the Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court, Ritu Raj Awasthi, has stated that peace and tranquillity must prevail in the state. She said that the institutions in the state must open, but no religious dress must be worn by any students till the case is pending. She has asked the petitioners to cooperate for a few days and asked them to not insist on wearing religious clothes until the court concludes. The case's next hearing has been scheduled for Monday, February 14.
