Juniper Mead One Year Tasting - To Gin or Not to Gin? Today we taste our one year old juniper mead. The idea was to give a gin like flavor to a mead using juniper berries. Did the flavor of the juniper come through? Does it stand alone as a mead? We also decided to simplify this tasting and also recorded outside in the garden today. Nothing like mead with someone you love while enjoying the great outdoors. If you listen carefully you can even hear the sound of the "rare" urban commuter in the background :) Thanks to all of our supporters and viewers, we truly appreciate all of you.
